About us
東京の中枢「赤坂」は100年以上続く老舗銘店が点在し、古き良き伝統文化を継承しながら新しい文化を育んでいます。
赤坂和菓子WALKプロジェクトでは、昔の技法を受け継ぎ、四季の移り変わりや自然の美しさを移し出す和菓子文化にフォーカスし、ふれあう・味わう・創る・知る・遊ぶをテーマに、体験を通じて赤坂の強み（ロケーション・アクセス・国際都市・歴史・和文化・アート・観光資源・元気）を様々な角度から探求し、四季折々の楽しみ方や文化を伝え広めることを目的としています。

Akasaka is an area in Central Tokyo dotted with famous restaurants that have been in business for more than 100 years.
It has inherited old traditions while nurturing new culture.
The Akasaka Wagashi Walk Project focuses on the city’s rich wagashi culture, which has inherited ancient techniques and often depicts the beauty of the changing seasons and nature.
The project aims at conveying the strengths of the city (location, accessibility, modernity as city, history, deep-rooted Japanese culture, art, tourism resources, and energy) from various angles and to communicate and spread new ways to enjoy the city and its culture both from within Japan and abroad.
